Traditional protected lithium-ion batteries typically add a protection circuit at the negative terminal, connected via a nickel strip. In contrast, the Weltool UB14-18 adopts a built-in protection circuit at the positive terminal, integrated with the battery through steel shell riveting. This design effectively prevents short circuits caused by impacts or wear, without increasing the battery diameter.
The Type-C USB charging port is located on the positive protection circuit. It supports direct charging via a 5V adapter and can also be connected to a power bank.
