Traditional lithium-ion batteries with protection circuits usually have the protection board connected to the negative electrode via a nickel strip. In contrast, the Weltool UB26-70 integrates the protection circuit into the positive electrode, with the steel casing riveted and combined with the battery itself. This design effectively prevents short circuits caused by impacts or wear, without increasing the battery diameter.
The Type-C USB charging port is built into the positive protection circuit. It can be connected to a USB charging cable and a 5V adapter to charge the battery directly, or to a computer USB port with high current output. It can also be connected to a power bank for charging, or the battery can be charged using a dedicated charger.
The battery’s positive end features a charging indicator: red indicates charging, and blue indicates fully charged.
